Frequently Asked Questions
Are Anger Awareness Group classes court approved?
Yes they are. If you have been court ordered to take anger management classes, you will be given credit for every class you attend.
How many classes can I take a week?
If court or employer ordered, you will only be allowed to take one a week unless you are able to provide written proof from the court / probation or employer allowing you to take more than 1 per week.
How do I get credit for classes I have taken?
Upon attendance you will need to fill out a sign in sheet which serves as proof of attendance. Upon request, we will provide the documentation for court and a progress report, if requested, for an additional fee. We are also able to appear in court with you for an additional fee.
What if I am late?
While we try to accommodate students needs, there are restrictions. If your classes are court ordered, the class will not count for a court ordered session if you arrive move than 5 minutes late.
How much does it cost and how do I pay for my classes?
Participants must fill out the intake form online. The intake form provides us with all the information we need to accommodate your situation and understand your goals prior to your first class.
The intake form charge is $60. There is also a workbook that you will need to buy which is $20. After that, each class will be $30 and payable to the instructor at the beginning of the class. All payments are non-refundable.
What do I bring to class with me?
If you are court, probation or employer ordered to attend, you must bring all of your paperwork with you for your first class to make sure that you get credit for every class attended.
